Career AscensionProgress with something to show.
Finishing an activity does not by itself demonstrate a skill. The idea is to connect work to supporting material and keep review as a separate step.
Role & scope
A private local product. My role covers product direction, requirements and acceptance review. This example illustrates one product decision.
How does it work?
- Activity
A specific piece of work with a clear completion state.
- Evidence
Supporting material connected to that activity.
- Review
A separate assessment before evidence is accepted.
The decisions behind it
Why separate activity from evidence?
A progress counter tells us how many steps are complete, not the quality of the work. The separation allows material to be attached later without treating an upload as approval.
How is the idea reviewed?
The acceptance scenario starts with completed work, adds evidence and prepares it for review. Each state has a visible meaning. The small example does not read files or connect to private application data.
Inspect the work.
Try the three states below. They illustrate the workflow; they do not validate a real file or expose the private application.
Independent concept example
From a step to evidence
Completion is a start. Next, attach something that shows the work.
A short, curated case study. No private repository or application data is exposed.
